I'm reading Jacques Cousteau's The Human, The Orchid and The Octopus right now and it's pretty good too.John Dupuishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09829396649299444557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3831412.post-7121294031873245332009-05-01T01:58:00.000-04:002009-05-01T01:58:00.000-04:00I am Applied Science Librarian at a small college ...I am Applied Science Librarian at a small college in Australia. I am looking for a few pop sci books in physics, chemistry, & astronomy that are really worthwhile. I find most popular titles lean too far into psychology and biology/environmental sciences which aren't strictly part of our courses at my campus.

I'd like to stretch the collection a bit, so at least we can try to inspire students to push toward a degree at a university.

So these titles are a good start, i was thinking about The Drunkard's Walk. but can you recommend further titles? Perhaps 2009 has brought a new favourite?Lhttp://www.holmesglen.edu.aunoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3831412.post-44542300663234398442008-12-07T15:08:00.000-05:002008-12-07T15:08:00.000-05:00Yeah, there's a lot of great stuff missing from th...Yeah, there's a lot of great stuff missing from their list.John Dupuishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09829396649299444557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3831412.post-11158707339477329812008-12-07T13:29:00.000-05:002008-12-07T13:29:00.000-05:00How can you skip anything by Sean B.
